Fouad Mezher is a cartoonist, illustrator, occasional animator, and instructor of illustration and graphic narratives at the American University of Beirut. He holds an MFA in Comics from California College of the Arts, and is best known for his work in that medium, but prefers to be known by his students as that guy who lets them draw mutant chickens in class. This preference is exemplified in his work, often using the lens of science fiction and horror to explore themes of personal loss and identity.
